Is there a payment schedule?
Before design work begins, you'll pay 75% of the projected website cost via credit card, debit card, or electronic check. The remaining 25% is due right before the site goes live and is transferred to your ownership. Learn more here.
What about design revisions- how many do I get?
Plenty. After the first design draft is submitted, small changes can be requested in up to two rounds of revisions. Up to one hour of design changes is included in each round of revisions. Additional revisions or major template changes are billed separately at $75/hr. To keep things moving, revision requests must be submitted within 5 days of design/ revision delivery.
Will you teach me how to use my new website?
As a bonus, I offer one hour of free website training to my clients to show you the basic functions of your website. If you need additional training, you can apply for one-on-one coaching which costs $75/hr. Learn more here.
Do you charge by the page or do you charge hourly?
To keep things simple I try to charge by the page. Why? The more pages your site has the longer it takes me to design. This also encourages us to be concise. In some cases, if we are unsure of your exact needs at the time of our initial consultation, I will provide an estimate of anticipated hours needed to complete your custom project.
But what if I need a lot of pages?!
You don't. The majority of people will view your website from a mobile phone, about 65%. Less pages means less waiting for pages to load. I can usually fit all of the necessary information on 3 pages. If you offer many products/ services, you may need 5. If your business faces tough online competition (like doctors/lawyers), you may need more than 5. The best part? It's easy to add on pages later when you know it won't cost a fortune. As your business grows, so can your website.
Why do you recommend Weebly and WIX over Wordpress?
The small business owners I work with, they all want a low maintenance website they can learn to update themselves. That is why, unlike most agencies, I do not recommend Wordpress for the average business person. Wordpress sites are pretty and they can be customized with a billion features. They can also have security issues, and need constant updates. It's hard to edit the website yourself. You don't need that hassle, you need something clean, functional, dependable, and visually attractive. For most people, that is Weebly or Wix.
So how do I choose which platform to use and how many pages I need? What's next?
A consultation comes next. I'm here to help you figure all of that out! In the last year I have worked on 9 different web development platforms and I will help you find a great one for your business.

Working with Crafted Clicks- Terms of Service

How do I make a payment?
I accept CC, debit and electronic check payments. After our our initial meeting or phone conversation, I will provide you with a written estimate/ invoice and a link to make an online payment. The invoice outlines the services I recommend, the cost of the time spent on those services and and limits on the terms of service based on the information you provide. Payment by check must be pre-approved in writing. Paying the invoice demonstrates your agreement to the terms in the invoice.

Is there a payment schedule for websites and branding services?
For websites/ logos/ branding, you'll pay 75% of the projected project cost via credit card, debit card, or paypal. No design work, consultations, or research can begin before the initial retainer is paid. The remaining 25% of the original invoice is due right before the website is transferred to your ownership, design changes are made live, or high resolution digital files are delivered. Once the client accepts ownership and editing rights to a new website, or logo/branding files are delivered- no refunds will be given. If tasks outside of the original invoice are requested by the client, time spent on those tasks will be billed on a separate invoice and must be approved in writing before the project can proceed.

What about payment for digital marketing services?
For monthly retainer digital marketing services, there is no long term contract and as a result, payment must be made in full each month before work can begin. Retainer services paid each month will be based on a specific number of hours, agreed upon by both parties. This includes: Facebook, Google, Social Media Management, SEO, Blog Post Creation etc.

Who do you work with?
I usually work with individual entrepreneurs and small, local businesses. Those are my people. However, as an individual artist, I reserve the right to refuse services to anyone at any time. If you are not a good fit for the services I provide, or I feel that I cannot adequately assist you, I will not accept payment for a project or hourly work. I do not guarantee the services listed on this website will be available to everyone. I gladly work with all races, genders, and flavors but I do not work with gambling or adult companies. I do marketing for good companies. If a client is found to be operating in an illegal or unethical manner, I reserve the right to terminate a current invoice agreement with 7 days written notice. Terminated clients will not be billed for future work and any time not worked on a paid project is eligible for a refund.

Can I get a refund?
As you are paying for services and expertise, once design work has begun on a project, you are not eligible for a refund on the hours spent providing those services. If you seek a refund or wish to cancel a project after work begins, you are still responsible for work done up until the date your cancellation or refund request is received. In that case, you will be provided with a list of billable hours (with dates) and you are responsible for paying for that work, even if you consider the project "unfinished". If there are hours paid for, that have not been worked, those can be refunded.

Do you offer training with your services?
As a bonus, I offer up to one hour of free website training to my new website clients to show you the basic functions of your website. Website revamps and single page updates are not eligible for free training. Clients must travel to Lafayette, LA for in-person training. If you need additional training in graphic design, web design, social media management, or digital marketing, you can apply for one-on-one coaching which costs $75/hr. Not everyone will be approved for training and coaching services must be agreed mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Do you guarantee results?
As digital marketing, websites, and social media are full of variables I cannot control, I do not guarantee any specific results on a project unless agreed to, in writing, before the project begins. I do not guarantee you will receive traffic to your website or social media profiles. I do not guarantee SEO ranking results and I do not guarantee that customers will buy from your website, or book your services. Compensation is based on time spent providing services.

Do you guarantee the 3rd Party Services you work with?
I do not own or work for any 3rd party vendor and do not guarantee the usability, functionality or availability of any software, website or service that is not Crafted Clicks. Services like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Weebly, Wix, GoDaddy, 3dcart etc are controlled by Crafted Clicks and therefore I assume no responsibility for their content, services or results. Any payments between you and these 3rd party services are your responsibility. Should an issue arise between you and any 3rd party, I reserve the right to exclude myself from any dispute. For example: if you forget to update your credit card info in Facebook and they stop running your ads, that is between you and Facebook. In that case, you would still have to pay me for creating and managing the ads.
